It’s time to allow yourself to Heal.

Have you found yourself caught in the trap of toxic wellness? Your days spend *trying* to heal, by doing all the right things?

It’s SO easy to do. We understand that true healing involves the whole of us and not just our physical body, but the physical body is what gets our attention most quickly.

We also understand that true healing is not taking a pill to suppress symptoms or a surgical procedure to remove a “faulty part” when the root cause could be addressed to bring about true healing.

Excellent. Let’s “do the work”.

And off we go… we are willing to do the hard work, we understand that it may not be instant… we know that it’s ok to be uncomfortable and that is sometimes a part of it and we keep “doing the work”. We notice when our body gives us information (meaning something feels uncomfortable)… and then we find ourselves a year or more into our “healing journey” and wondering if we will ever stop feeling uncomfortable?! How long will this fatigue or pain or discomfort last?? Ok, it’s all ok, it’s fine… this is just information… keep going!

What happened?! We got caught in the loop of finding, working, supporting which all becomes centered around focusing on “what’s wrong” or what isn’t working the way we want it to.

And guess what?

What we focus on expands.

That’s a universal law. It’s physics. If all we focus on is what’s “wrong” and our discomfort... that’s what is going to ‘expand’.

So how do we re-route this process? How do we break that loop?

We still want to attend to what’s coming up and process through things and support appropriately… but has that become our full-time job?

That’s when we know we are out of balance.

If figuring out what we are processing and what supplements to take and what we should eat and how we should work out and which practitioners we should see and when is taking up most of our brain space each day, we are in that loop.

It’s time to Zoom OUT! Forget about your health/wellness/symptoms/etc for a few minutes and imagine you are already exactly where you want to be in your health and vitality. You feel lean, full of energy and strong… your mind is clear and your heart is light and you are FREE!

Where do you see yourself? What are you doing? What is fun for you? What brings you joy? How do you see yourself helping others/society/the world? What might you find yourself creating?

Healing is promised to us. It is inherent in how we are designed. When we focus on what we don’t want or don’t like, we are in a state of resistance and we are slowing down the process of healing. You can’t stop healing, but you sure can slow it down!

When we shift our focus onto what’s good, what’s going “right” and what we love, we release that resistance and *allow* healing to flow.

Take some time to envision this! Close your eyes, take this journey and imagine how it feels to have health freedom… really imagine and picture yourself in a specific place, doing something you love or something that’s fun or daydreaming or whatever feels good… what does it feel like to feel good? Now as you are imaging this, drop it below the chin… into your body and really feel in your body what it feels like to be where you want to be and doing what you want to do.

If you can spend 10 minutes per day doing this, and then going about your day and simply checking in again to revisit this visualization momentarily a few times per day, you will find yourself truly shifting your own focus. And you will begin to experience that freedom of health SO much more quickly and easily than the journey you have been taking.
